Directions to Freeport, Maine lodging at the Freeport Clipper Inn follow.  Freeport is located in Midcoast Maine along the shores of Casco Bay.  Our bed & breakfast is approximately two hours north of Boston and only 15 minutes north of Portland.  It is also the perfect mid-way stop to other points north.

Freeport is a shopper’s paradise with antique shops and over 170 factory outlet stores including L.L. Bean's Flagship Store.  For those interested in outdoor activities, the area has rural, residential, and ocean-front facilities or you can just enjoy the picturesque coastline, villages, farms, rivers, and streams.

A wide variety of restaurants are available serving cuisines ranging from New England clam bakes, lobster dinners, and other seafood to pizza baked in a wood-burning oven.

• I-295 North or South, take Exit 22 (formerly Exit 20).
• Follow the signs to Freeport Village.
• At the light (US Route 1), turn left.
